The work of a District Court Judge and Municipal Court Judge in court is something I have been doing part-time for a long time –by being an appointed Court Commissioner for the City of Bremerton and by doing a job they call Judge Pro-Tem for the Kitsap County District Court. We join the bench when the elected judges you voted for have to take leave for health, vacation, training or other personal reasons. It keeps me hopping every week with a regular calendar of sitting on the bench, in addition to my civil practice.
